Doubtless this has come up before in different guises I just wanted to post for solidarity !

Call from 020 7256 8745 citing HMRC arrears

When refuse to give details and want to verify authenticity am told to google "HMRC Senior Courts Office" and look at number at the bottom (020 7947 6000) then placed on a three way call with this number incoming.

Very very slick and disturbing bluntly.

Like a lot of people I have been receiving furlough and been managing the PAYE payments to HMRC, and am juggling a lot of balls.

Most unwelcome. Just sharing.

Best

Report this to HMRC. They are aware of these scamming attempts and are working actively to shut them down.
