My business has an ongoing retainer based relationship with a client in Ireland whereby they pay us a fixed monthly amount for digital marketing support, i've done my own investigating and it may well be me but it seems as clear as mud as to what will change with this situation following Brexit in January.

They are our only EU based client currently and at present we complete an EC Sales List for VAT for the provision of services to them each quarter, this will end however i'm not sure what the new situation will be and I haven't been able to find concise and specific advice for this scenario. We're a very small business and this is a valued client so I want to ensure we're doing what we need to continue to trade with them.

Do any business owners on here provide similar services to Irish clients and have a better of idea of how things might change?

As a backup plan, check out the rules for providing services to any non-EC country.

The truth is, until Dec 31st, no one knows 100% what is going to happen.
