Evening guys,

We have a batch of products coming in (approx 60) and the packaging is 200 x 30 x 130cm (morning 25-ishKG), the normal couriers we use cant help due to the size and we really want to avoid repacking as it will add a lot of time and hassle to our work load.

Can anyone recommend a courier who maybe able to help, probably 95% will go throughout the UK mainland.

Thanks

deeen

That might not help then!

It is boxed bicycles so relatively fragile but at 25KG each I suppose its not going to be easy to chuck around?

Someone like Tuffnells will be your best bet as they're classed as irregular, something which they specialise in. Another option is DX freight.

Joking aside, if you can strap them upright onto a pallet, they'd probably be fine. Lying down in the back of a truck, they might get other stuff chucked on them. Is it just 1 at a time to residential addresses, or 5 to the same shop? If you can fill a pallet with them, then the pallet networks become economic.

It would just be one or two at a time, they will go from our warehouse to customer so no bulk orders unfortunately.

My concern is like you say, they end up on their side with a load of heavy sh*t on top of them!

Now sorted smile

Tuffnells have gave us an account, £18 for a next day service on any bikes boxes up to 2metre which is very competitive.

Just seen you've sorted it now.

However, have used this company a number of times before and very impressed with the service. Someone there has obviously done their homework as all the niggly things that you have to put up with using couriers they seem to have nailed.
Have moved large car parts around the UK and also garden 'tat' for MrsF too. Nothing has been an issue.

NB. Not connected to them in any way.

Correct smile

We have a load of KTM, Ghost and some Corratec e-MTB coming in stock, manufacturer refurbished models with 2 years warranty.
Discounts from 35% - 50% on most models and express UK postage (bikes are due in mid december).

Unfortunately I wont be posting the link to our business on here, we have done it in the past and there is always one or two members who intervene and spoil it for others. Lesson learnt in the past.

If anyone is genuinely interested feel free to DM me and I will help and offer you some form of discount (free postage perhaps), the bikes range from £1200 - £3200 so please keep that in mind, these aren't budget touring e-bikes.
