Finding short-term PRIME high street retail space
Discussion
Hi, as per title - requiring prime retail space (high street) for short-term / pop-up shops. Is there a RightMove equivalent for commercial (specifically retail) properties? I also wondered if there are agents who specialise in negotiating with landlords re this sort of thing? Again, needs to be prime A1 positioned. Size - 1000 to 2000sq/ft. Minimum 3-6mths.
Any pointers very welcomed

You mean like RightMove Commercial? https://www.rightmove.co.uk/commercial-property-to...
Prime Location also have commercial property:

Also, you could just have a walk down the street where the empty units are, and note the agents details from the property and give them a call.

National agencies like Jones Lang, Savills and Knight Frank all have commercial departments with lists of retail space to let. Otherwise, if you know which town(s) you're looking at, just have a look for To Let boards in those High Streets and speak to the agents direct. If the unit's empty, they'd rather have a short-term let than no tenant at all. Also worth looking at larger units that could be split temporarily. The Estates Gazette website has listings too.
There are agents/consultants who would negotiate on your behalf, but I'd imagine it would be an expensive process.

I always considered RM Commercial to contain the dross... looks like it's getting stronger. Thanks.Lord Marylebone said:

Cheers - will have a look at Prime Location. https://www.primelocation.com/to-rent/commercial/

I think a good ring around the property agents is probably going to be my best bet, cheers.

That's helpful - thank you. I'm open to any town really.. just needs to be prime A1 positioned in a historically high footfall location. There are agents/consultants who would negotiate on your behalf, but I'd imagine it would be an expensive process.
