Programme/employee management system ideas?
Discussion
Hi all,
I work as part of a business of around 95 people, some of whom are employees, and some are self employed associates who work for us as and when required.
Employees and associates work on projects for clients, and provide interim cover etc, so they can be all over the place doing 1 day a week for one client, 3 days a week for another, and so on.
I am looking to improve the ease and efficiency by which we can see, at a glance, who is working where, and what spare capacity they have each week.
Does anyone have any experience of this type of thing?
Perhaps a private online portal arrangement which displays everyone on a dashboard that can be easily updated by the individuals listed?
Thanks

Years ago when I worked in Audit the Office admin team used a database which kept a track of who was scheduled to be working on which audit.. To try and describe it ;
- all staff names were listed down the left hand side of the screen and then calendar days from left to right
- each day was colour coded to show either an ongoing audit, or study leave, or other leave
- back in those days there was no WFH so the Audit partners could see who was working where on any particular day and also who was scheduled to be working where on any particular day.
IIRC the main benefit was to keep a track of audit days worked and WIP/not billed but it sounds similar to what you're looking for?. Either Monday.com or something like this?

I work for a company who make and sell this sort of thing. It may be a bit overkill for you (it’s designed for enterprise use) but you can take a look. If you already use the Salesforce platform it might be a good fit for you: https://www.financialforce.com/professional-servic...
