Changing a property from tenanted to serviced accommodation.

We're looking at doing this with a BTL we have.

Has anyone else done it and is there anything we need to look out for?

If I understand things correctly we will stop paying council tax on it and instead be liable for business rates.

Also, are serviced properties and furnished holiday lets EXACTLY the same from a tax perspective?
