Next Day Courier for large / awkward items

Does anyone have any experience / advice on shipping larger items, e.g. ply lining kits / flat pack racks / van floors?

I am aware of Tuffnells but am worried they don't have a depot local to Nottingham. Are there any other options to be recommended (or avoided)?
