Small signmaking soletrader,

I have always sent invoice via email with bacs details attached,
On larger companies i understand bank details on my invoice is fine as it goes to there accounts etc.

Its the small companies i really end up chasing the balance so im looking into something i can send an invoice by email with a simple
pay now click, Do people use these? I dont need to take payment on telephone im just trying to speed up payments from smaller business.

I know myself from purchasing goods, going online logging in typing digits etc takes time and can slow getting paid down and usually gets put off.

One company sent their invoice through square up. Is 2.5% the going rate to take from each transaction?

I don't have any personal experience of using this myself, but would something like this be suitable?

https://www.zoho.com/invoice/

Free and has multiple payment gateway options.

Stripe are generally 1.4% +20p. They integrate with Xero invoices (and probably other accounting software) or you can generate your own payment links in their control panel.

Thanks for the replies, looks like Stripe take less fees for a transaction.

I guess paypal is an option setting up a business account, 1.2% plus a fixed fee (which it doesnt say how much!)
