It didnt work for me. I am a mostly locally based company. Use Directories & own website with links.

I've used it, but my experience is that all of the internet based "directories" produce very poor results; you have to go through too many levels to find what you want in comparison to just flipping open your local Yellow Pages and going straight to the classification you want.

We have had a few hits with it and Yellow Pages, But we are thinking about droping the Yellow Pages and keeping Yell.com.

Luckily we are getting enough word-of-mouth to keep us out of trouble.

I called a locksmith out of the directory once.
He told me I was the first call from that source in 2 years...
