Does any company really need 194,481 logos?

https://www.itsnicethat.com/news/superunion-monoty...

And if I may say so, the one on that page is ruddy awful. Maybe one of the other 194,481 is better but I don't have the time to look...

Bah.

I actually really like that. Bloody clever. No matter what mix of typefaces they use, it's still clear who the company is.

They're not actually using 190k+ logos, they've established a singular identity. All they've done is applied a bit of creative thinking as to how that logo is used in different contexts and regions.

Thats' with my design / creative hat on.

With my marketing one on..... whether it makes any difference to their reputation (the driver behind the re-brand) remains to be seen. You can rebound all you like but unless the core service or product is good then you may as well not bother.

Nutella beat them to it back in 2017, Ogilvy & Mather Italia used an algorithm that created 7million unique label designs for the Italian market, apparently they all sold out.

Logos aside, I tried using Evri for the first time today.

Got as far as 'Add to basket' - nothing. Click button, nothing happens. Order won't go into basket. Head for 'Help' - no option for my need, no use. Can't go backwards. Open new window and start again, this time I can enter my e-mail and phone number so somebody might contact me. Nothing after 30 mins and I want to get this box posted. I tell them it worked better when it was Hermes, leave 1 star and quit.

I'll saunter down to my local Post Office and do it the old fashioned way. And it's actually cheaper.

I had a delivery from them today. Had no idea it was Hermes, looked like a scam email at first.

Forgot to add, I thought the logo look amateurish/crude which fed my possible scam radar.

Postscript. After telling the automatic helper bot that I couldn't proceed because I hadn't got as far as getting a tracking number, I had a reply from Mohammed today. His copy/paste reply asked me for the tracking number banghead
