Min Wage

I am looking at taking on a couple of part time people in April for a couple of months to help out with a few things.

Its the first time we have done this type of thing as we would normally take on agency staff for these 2 roles, I already have the staff lined up and they are going to start in a couple of weeks.

One is 21 and the other is in his early 60s.

Can I just check the 21 year old min wage is £9.18 and the older guy will be £9.50?

I have done my research online but the term "living wage" is causing some confusion.

Living wage for the older guy, as he is over 23, and minimum wage for the 21 year old. Mind you, if they are doing the same job, wage should be the same surely.

Cheers for the info. No one is ecom order bod the other is doing parts runs / taking equipment out to site etc.

They are actually related - which is a whole other story!!

Sadly not a requirement unfortunately, although some better employers do.
