measuring carbon footprint
Discussion
a few motives:
1. Our customer base, and end retailers are asking about sustainability etc.
2. Being an attractive employer - our future workforce is Gen Y & Z, and sustainability/environmental impact is something they care about, so doing something about our carbon footprint is a good way of ensuring we get good calibre people.
3. Why not! Whatever one's position on environmental change, reducing carbon output can only be a good thing, and in the longterm, moving to sustainable energy etc will reduce costs.

OK, two fashion points, and one practical point (cost). However, sustainable energy isn't cheaper, it's subsidised by levies on other things. I suspect energy is going to keep on getting more expensive, driven by demand if nothing else. All those EVs need power you know.
Still, I understand that boxes have to be ticked so you'll need to get on the green bandwagon I suppose

I am going through this at the moment.
Have signed up to SBTI and have just finalised out baseline emissions so now looking at out reduction planning.
Have a really good company helping us, email me if you want further info.
On a serious note, how do you reduce CO2 emissions of a business without using less power? Is it simply a matter of switching to a 'green' tariff? (which amusingly still go up with the price of gas).Have signed up to SBTI and have just finalised out baseline emissions so now looking at out reduction planning.
