Had a request for details of my property, tried to log into their website using the reference number supplied and keep getting knocked back due to the details not matching.

I've emailed them to say as such but the reply was to try again today - same issue.

Has anyone else had a request and been able to log in?

Part of my day job is filling these in. You are using the post code that the form gives for the subject property? That’s why most fail.

If you still can’t sign in I would email them - there is then a record. I am off this week so can’t check the email address but it’s probably on the form

Thanks, yes all details as they are on the form. Have emailed them twice now.

Well in that case give up! If you get a fine in due course you can appeal it on the grounds that you have tried to complete it, and been unable to do so, and emailed them.

As if by magic, it all worked this morning. Somewhat pointless as the details haven't changed in 30 years.
