I posted recently about a purchase from Tiny. Was being mucked around by Tiny, got great advice from PH and cancelled the order. Tiny took the money from my credit card, I put this in dispute and, of course, Tiny have gone bust. My visa company is now chasing me for the money despite the fact I have never received any goods from Tiny, I doubt we'll get the money back but I don't know where I stand legally, I thought the visa company would be liable but because I cancelled the order they say I am liable. Help, advice anyone?

Who has your money - Tiny.

Let them chase Tiny (or the receivers) for it.

Tiny took your money - they have it. You didn't get your goods ergo - Tiny have your mpney illegally. The credit card company have no case against you. Tell them to take a hike.

& if they refuse to take said hike then threaten to change credit card companies. Should do the trick.

Notify the credit card company that this is a "disputed" payment. They then have to stop the interest on it, and investigate for you, that is part of the credit law IIRC.. Notify them they better not adversely affect your credit too.

And do it, or back it up in writing!
