Currently I am considering a film project to remake a rather famous motorsport film which is based round a certain french race which lasts all day and night.
I have access to Drivers, Cars and help a couple of Le Mans Sportscar and GT Teams in a Consultancy role.
Do not have access to much funding or contacts in the Entertainments industry through.
Please email me through PH

Not that I am a cynic, but for a project like this to fly (or drive, so to speak!) you need some big name talent for the film execs to pin their careers on. You see, the various 'vice presidents of racing film funding' at film companies are constantly shitting themselves because their careers depend on succesful cinema releases. They would take a crap script with Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Anthony Hopkins over a great script with unknowns. They would prefer a great script woith big names!
Do you have a script? Do you have an agent? Or is your'idea' to remake an older film about a famous race in France?
There are a number of avenues for funding films in the UK and US - most of them are very long winded, involve multiple funding partners to spread the risk and often collapse moments before productions starts for any number of reasons. Don't let this put you off though! If you are tenacious, really believe in the project nad have the stamina to go through two or three years trying to put 'the deal' together, you can succeed.
Good luck.
