Work from somewhere for a day

I'm going over to a party in the SW and will probably have to travel near there on a Thursday night, stay and then work from somewhere so that I can get there on time.

Where do you/people go to get a day's office use?

Nice and quiet. I don't think you can really get anything proper done with your laptop in a Starbucks. If you rent a desk at some shared working place then you might as well just get a nicer hotel room with the money.

If you want a proper desk and a professional environment, google 'co-working space' for your destination. Quite a few about.

You get a desk and an office chair. Normally got access to a printer, tea/coffee making facilities. Most will rent you a desk for the day
