I’m doubting myself here so this is a sanity check

Importing £3k from China which is £4K with DDP

VAT reg company

Give factory vat number so no vat on the £3k goods
What about the shipping vat assume none ?

Here’s the sanity check

Import duty from UPS - paid in advance, under what is this reclaimed or not.

I’ve been doing this for years and my accountants never reclaimed important duty - who’s right?
