Retail Buisness owners-what till/EPOS are you using?

As per the title we replaced our EPOS a few years ago with a system that we rent from a local company. We've had a few issues with it, software and user related.

The integration with the card reader (Dojo) seems to have gone haywire recently, I haven't got to the bottom of it yet but when cashing up it seems to be under counting what has been taken as card transactions. Its all connected via WiFi but the card reader has its own SIM if the WiFi drops out so not sure if that's causing a issue.

Anyone got a system/supplier they'd recommend? I think I'll buy rather than rent. Business is a pub, its probably 80:20 card to cash ~20K a month.

When I'm out and about I'll maybe ask what other businesses are using.

Shopify POS is solid but possibly limited for you

It doesn't need to be fancy but they're possibly for lower volume.

I used EPOS NOW for a catering business (soft play area) and had no complaints.

Check out Square we use it in a cafe doing £60k a month and it’s better than the dojo system we had before.

We pay a small fee a month and the hardware was free.

They make their money on the card transactions which are lower than dojo.
