Hi, I have opened a transportation company after working in another one. I really didn t like the professionalism there: the drivers were not properly dressed, and the management did not communicate enough with dealerships to make sure the car was ready, where I could spend 3 hours of my time just to get the car, instead of half hour. I want to make a different one, to offer a quality service and as well a good price. I understand that competition is big but I am focusing more on how I can help people. The drivers properly dressed and the management should be more effective. I would like to know any suggestions or maybe problems you had when someone delivered your car.

You mentioned the drivers not being properly dressed twice - is that really that big an issue and what should they be wearing?

Do the customers really care as long as they get their car?

Drivers that are properly trained and equipped to carry out their role effectively and importantly, safely.

Knowing the weight capacity of the vehicle set up you are using, keeping legal (the right insurance cover etc) are the most important things for me, I ran a recovery company for twenty years. There are any number of fly by night firms who sell themselves on the lowest price.

Luckily the DVSA etc are now of the lookout for these cowboys, especially on the overloading front.

Alternatively: obvious dimboid who thinks putting a tie on an HGV driver is the path to riches is obvious

You didn't mention dirty clothes only 'not properly dressed'

Making it up as you go along?
