Running an industry event for 120 ppl next year West London. Weve got most of the speakers sorted but would like 1 or 2 different topics. One being a after dinner speaker, but also something around mental health - suicide is high in our industry (medical), so this would seem a good fit.

Google lists 100's speaker agencies and have thousands of speakers, sports personalities (and every z-list wannabe between) on their books - I have zero dealings here professionally or personally so any experiences greatly received

No experience of MH, but events yes. My immediate thought was an ex high-profile sports personality. But one sufficiently recovered that they will actually turn up for your event.

Off the top off my head.

Started by Gooner & England centre half, Tony Adams.

May be worth a call or email.

ETA: I was in 'the trade'. They have a good reputation. Though, if dont know if they provide the service that you are looking for.

After Dinner speakers tend to be more light-hearted. All of the deep, technical stuff will have been covered during the day and after dinner when the wine's been flowing, expectation is more 'entertainment' than 'information'.

Perry McCarthy (ex Stig) is very good. Very funny but also quite insightful: https://www.perrymccarthy.co.uk

Sean Williamson is also excellent (Barry from Eastenders and Extras): https://www.shaunwilliamson.info

Your budget will determine who you go for. Do you have one?
