Quite unexpectedly a large pack of A3 copier paper has just been delivered. The box has my name on, but I didn't order it and it's not showing in 'My Orders'.

How did that happen, and is it worth keeping just in case they want it back? (A3 is no use to me). Anyone else had a surprise delivery they didn't order?

I once got a random delivery from one company where they'd typed the wrong order number into the label printer and picked up a previous order of mine. They had included the correct invoice in the box so I could tell what had happened. I think I just forwarded it to the correct person at the company's expense.

Mystery solved - the Orders page has now updated and what should have been delivered was some Post-It notes. So it's just a seller error and the PO can pick it up later this week.

I got a cloche delivered from Amazon with all my details on it, very odd.

Just adding I also got a random amazon delivery, checked orders and not something I have. Checked all my accounts and everything so far seems fine. Will keep an eye on it.

But as poster above says, could be victim of a brushing scam, which is very odd as I have only just recently changed my address so has to be something I've bought very recently.

Have flagged to Action Fraud, that way if anything comes up on my ID I'll have some back-up

Message Amazon and let them know. We occasionally get deliveries for a similar address. Just live chat amazon, 99.9% of the time they wont collect it and will tell you to donate it to charity (i.e. keep it).
