Does anyone know companies in Manchester that rent out the ad space in city centre bar/pub toilets?

There are a lot of people from Manchester on the North west forum try there as well.

Might I humbly suggest contacting the breweries that own the pubs you want to advertise in?

Next time you're in one, have a close look at the frames holding the ads. I wouldn't be surprised if the company name and contact details are on there.

After doing a spot of research on Friday evening, it would appear that the most prominent company is "Hi-Tech Media Ltd", and they have a website at:

You can also buy this space through any of the big outdoor advertising specialists, probably the easiest route as the media space is owned by lots of different contractors.

Try Portland Outdoor, Posterscope or mail me for more suggestions

I don't work for any of them, just have used them from time to time.

Interesting, their calimed figures are:

5,000 bars, clubs and pubs
17,000 washroom poster panels
40,000,000 beermats distributed per annum
Unrivalled campaign posting accountability system
50,000,000 targeted impacts per month
Unique venue-search audience delivery system
17 different bar media formats
Contractor placement of numerous award-winning campaigns

I was curious to know how they claimed 50,000,000 impacts per month if they sell to 5000 bars. This equates to 10,000 per bar per month = 322 per day. So does this mean that 322 people per day take a leak in each pub / read the beer mat? I suppose it sounds reasonable when you think about it.

Seem fairly reasonable if they've got coverage over a couple of large cities, including student bars (which are often open outside licensing hours doing an imitation of a coffee house). There's probably a bit of "accuracy rounding" there too, and I've yet to meet a marketing team who round down these sorts of figures...

Or they're targetting high-incontinence areas!
