Business has been pretty lean recently and it has not been a pleasant few weeks. Tomorrow I'm pitching for an absolutely vital contract. We've won through to the very last stage - it's us against one other. I can't tell you all how important this is.

So, from 14h00 tomorrow, can I appeal to all PH entrepreneurs to spare a thought and keep something crossed!

I'm sat here waiting for a call back from a potential employer. I'm supposed to be in the garage fitting new engine mounts to the Tiv, but I daren't leave the phone.

They were going to call back "after lunch".

Maybe they have a late lunch.
