Hi,

I am really keen to get some feedback from existing online shop owners about the software your currently using.

I basically need to know a few things, such as what you like about it in particular (the features you just couldn’t do without) and the bits you find really annoying, that could be made better, or that it just doesn’t do.

I would really appreciate any feedback. We are developing new software and would like to grab some ideas from the actual users of such eCommerce platforms. I have done a lot of background research anyway, and run a mail order business my self, but I would really be grateful of some other view points.

Regards,
Sam

Hi,

That sounds perfectly do-able, either windows based or web based with pseudo real time updating and any number of users.

Mail me if you would like to discuss the project, or visit the company site at www.2dmedia.co.uk

Regards,
Sam

Cant see what the problem is here to be honest...

Very much depends on what fields and functionality you need as to whether its worth having something built for you, or just use an off the shelf product.

Type in “online calendar” to Google, there’s a lot of companies offering virtual office type setups. I have used a couple, generally they are good but the problem can often be they are over specified, resulting in users finding them difficult or cumbersome to use. That’s when bespoke stuff comes into its own as its tailored precisely around your business processes.

Can we get back to online shops please... good features, lacking features?

...imho only because its free, but will cost more money in the long run through lost revenue and bad processes.
