I need an accountant in Surrey to rubber stamp my end of year company accounts ready for the taxman. My accounts are really really simple..

Anyone got any recommendations?

Cheers.

Charlie.

I'm in Hampshire (Farnborough - just inside the Surry /Hampshire border).

However, I don't rubber stamp anything

Do you do company Accounts Eric?

It would be good to use a PH'er

Yep.

I have quite a few limited company clients.

Why not e-mail me for further discussion?

LOL

That's where we're so different Eric, I rubber stamp everything. I really can't be arsed to get into the minutae of any numbers, so most of my business decisions are made on the back of an envelope. I guess I'd make a really bad accountant. That said, I always get my management accounts randomly audited by a financial advisor, just to make sure that everything is squeaky clean.

My institute would not be impressed if I was just processing clients' figures without applying some sort of profesional "critique" to the figures I was signing my name too.
The ACCA review my files from time to time and report on my working practices etc and, if disatisfied, would withdraw my practising certificate - which would not be a "good thing".

I depend on my accountant to ask questions about why I do things, and then invariablly put me right! If he just rubber stamped them I could be the one wearing the little suit with arrows in 5 years time when I get an enquiry.
