what size is the business?

Can it operate without you or are you the main customer contact/operators?

What are you selling - contact book, long term contracts, just the physical assets?

Are you profitable & if so for how long?

Who you sell to and how to market varies with what you're selling - if it is a medium size biz (t/o up to £10mil) and mainly managed by yourself it is likely to either be disposed via 'local contacts' of some form (i.e. an investor who knows the local market place and wants to fill your shoes) or a larger company looking for a bolt-on.

My company buys and sells companies all the time - about one per week. If you want to email me the details of your business through my profile then I may be able to give you some pointers.
