Import Duty

Can anyone help me with the import duty rate for some goods I'm looking to import. I have the correct Commodity Code but can't navigate my way round the HMRC website to find out the duty rating.

Best bet is to call them. I've done it in the past. Always say you're a private individual, gives you 3 commodities in the one call. If they view you as a VAT registered business I believe they charge for the priviledge.

If its any use to you, import cars are 10% duty, suspension components for cars were 4% last time I called them. Probably not relevant but you never know!
