I am looking to take on a new salesman. I need to provide him with a car for 6 months during his probationary period then if he is any good I will keep him on perm and then I will sort out a 3 year lease.

What's the best way to do this?

Why do you need to provide him with a car?

The problem with a lot if finance deals is that you might be committed to a lease/hire purchase period of at least three years.

Maybe you could offer him a car at the end of his probationary period.

I'm expecting him to be out on the road and he is leaving a job with a car to start with us. It is a condition of his employment that a car is provided on starting.

I have been looking at a leasing for 12 months this week.

There are quite a few that offer 6months as well, be ther is a bit of a premium for them.

Also try Hertz and Europa (u know, the ones with the green logo) they offer good deals for long term hires.

I can't believe that company is real!

I looked at this outfit when I suddenly had to return my company car last year, although I ended buying a car from stock elsewhere, so this is a suggestion, not a recommendation:
www.arrowhire.com

They have a stock list of the cars immediately available. I seem to have deleted the email thread, but I remember the costs seemed pretty reasonable even for the 2500 miles/mth that I needed.

The Bentley Flying Spur they've currently got might be a lark for 3 mths.

Someone else suggested in the same thread recommended www.flexxilease.co.uk
