Anyone advertised with On Inxxxx Xxxxxx?
Discussion
Apparently based in Blackpool and used to provide adverts all over video hire sleeves but now do ads on plasma screens.I have deliberately obiterated part of their name.
I am in the early stages of a relationship with them (being careful of posting rules)and would welcome anyone who knows about them to let me know. Feel free to email me if it's a bit sensitive for here.
There's a small amount of money involved (£150) which I am considering writing off to experience. They have basically promised a lot and delivered very little. They sent me a proof of the advert on a CD loose inside a sheet of A4 folded up. Needless to say it was broken. A replacement took two weeks to arrive, the quality was just as bad. I have had two long conversations with the owner (who used to be a professional footballer
)who has clearly not listened to my instructions and has either a)done five minutes powerpoint work which looks cheap and nasty or b)lifted my entire website frontpage which is far too 'busy' and confusing for a twenty second advert. On complaining he immediately offered to increase my advert to a minute from 20 seconds (smacks of desperation to me)at no extra cost. He claims the contract I signed allows him to do as many proofs until I am happy or six months (whereupon he can broadcast whatever he deems appropriate) have passed. It just feels so wrong yet I seem to be unable to walk away and will have to pay the further installments on my advert. I am sure there is something in consumer law that they have to supply a service or product within a reasonable period of time or I am entitled to a refund?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as the third (and hopefully final) proof is at home waiting for my approval.

Might be covered under the sales of goods and services act. If you want your money back we (www.debtrecovery.tv) can drop him a line for you free of charge (old pistonheads mate act and all that)cant promise we can get your money back but even if we do it still wont cost you a penny.
Did offer to do this for UKBOB if you are reading this, but never got the details of your claim, Bob.
Failing that dont pay him another penny and tell him you will see him in court.
