Hi All,
quickie...any good recommendations for registering and managing domain name?
For another new company....will be handling their email... need a service that offers POP3 email and a cath-all mailbox (rather than charging for individual ones)
Nildram now seem to be charging too much!

The managed side of things (like you ask) is handled by another of my companies Serverstream
This allows for domains to be invoiced as opposed to paid for via Credit Card (as register1 Requires) and the domains are about twice the price.
Drop me a mail by all means with what you think you're going to need, and i'll get as much of it done as possible.

To be honest JB, I found Register1 bloody confusing and impossible to contact unless it was by Email.
What's wrong with a phone line these days?

Nothing, thats why my Managed Services branch Serverstream offers 24/7 phone support.
Register1 is a low cost option for those who dont want to subsidise options they dont want / need.
This allows R1 to be the cheapest in europe for .com .net domains, and one of the cheapest for .eu and .org.
It also allows R1 to offer HUGE Bandwidth limits on UK based services, with £49 a month Dedicated XEON Servers, whilst still making a very healthy profit.
Support is very simple for existing customers.
