Distributor

Hello all,
looking for a bit of help and advice,

If found a product which I would be interested in distributing.
The product is socks, not just any socks, but these are very exclusive and so far the best by far that I have ever worn.

Anyhow, the company is based in the UK and the socks are made there, and I would be interested in distributing them to some european countries.

First of all I wanted some basic info and this would be the first time I had distributed stuff,
How does it work? Do I buy from company and then sell to store?
Or do I buy from company then give store sale or return?
Dont know looking for help,

Secondly as I would be importing, I pressume I would need to pay import tax in the country.

Thirdly, what percentage would/does a distributor normally keep?

Lets say they retail for £10,

anyone got a basic breakdown??
