I nice simple one.
I have a small amount(100 odd)of Abbey National (or Santander) shares that aren't really worth a great deal but am looking to sell to free up some finance.
My luddite question is how would I go about doing this as it is something I have zero experience in. I presume I have to sell through a broker and give up a certain percentage? Are there easy to use websites that deal in this type of thing?
I presume all I need is a bank account number and my share certificate?
I could Google but PH is more friendly and trustworthy IMO
