I have a sneaking suspision I am about to be overcharged!

A banner ad to go on some partner websites and some animated gifs, one involing a revolving debit card switching to a click here to buy message and another with two messages alternating.

How much should I be paying?

A lot of my clients at my last job (online marketing) used www.20dollarbanners.com so spookily enough they were charged 20 bucks a go. This is for a 234x60 image.

Thats generally the cheapest you can get thats any good.

Any help?

Thanks Rico.

Are they any good at the actual design or do we need to spoon feed them? We have a brand look / feel already but we need someone to maximise that although we may just need the animated gif to drop into a banner.

Also, any idea how fast their turnaround is?

I haven't personally used them, but from speaking to clients, they seem to turn them around in a couple of days. I think you have to supply your images, text etc and then you get a few chances to edit what they offer.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

Most banner ads use Flash.

The majority of browsers have the Flash plug-in installed.

Some banners can be done in minutes...others take days.

I'm sure if they want future business they're not going to overcharge you.
