Chaps

I know that one or two of you here are mortgage brokers. I am looking at getting in to property development next year, and need to know what kind of mortgages are available based on what I want to do. If you could drop me a line via e-mail (in my profile) then that would be great.

Out of interest, which mortgages do other property developers on here use? What % of price do you place as deposit?

smirnoff, could I run something by you?

(going to try anyway )

got a client needing a BTL remortgage but he's got a troublesome tenant who is about to be evicted...and she won't agree to the valuers gaining access (even with 7 days warning) so we have a problem.

I need to find a lender who will do a drive by or a desktop val on this prop so the tenant is undisturbed - and they would also like to extract 50k from it to take the LTV to 78% so I fear any lender will want to poke about inside it to accurately assess rental value
