Strange, I sent it ages ago. Do you want to try emailing me through my PH profile with your email address and I'll send it to you directly?

Hi Andy

I tried to email you through your Profile but it sounds like your not getting them.

I run a Design & Promotions company with my wife who has owned the company for about 14 years. I handle all the design projects including websites, brochures etc. Please take a look at our website and the work in our design section.

If you feel we could help please email me or call me about your requirements.

Hi all,

Want to compare what you charge to my own prices.

How much for a Website with a CMS system ?

The site has 7 sections with ten pages in each.
Each page has two or three images.
All text and images are supplied on CD.
Total of 50 pages.

Search Engine Optimisation is not required.

The client requires on site training. Cost per day ?
(To learn how to login and edit text/images and update sections)
Maybe a bit of basic HTML as well.

Here in London,
a *basic* 5 page website with a contact form and all images/text supplied by client varies from
£300 to £700.

Thanks.

According to my experience of the competition, anywhere from £200 to £20,000.

Every company is placed differently in the market, will charge or suggest a different rate, and deliver an entirely different product. The main thing is that the client is both happy, and receives value for money.

Thanks UKBOB.

Most of us here do not put prices on our website. Because how long is a piece of string ?

I'm going to put up an hourly rate and rates for common tasks on my new website.

A friend of mine does PC call outs and he charges £65 for the call out and then £45 per hour.
Another friend is a plumber and he charges £40 per half hour.
I was going through some code earlier (banging my head against the wall)wondering about my rates.

There seem to be a lot of web designers but hardly any plumbers around.
The next time someone says my nephew/niece/neighbour does web design I'm going to reply that my cat does plumbing.

Cheers.
