Shall I sell my funds?"confused"
Discussion
Opinions please - have four funds within an ISA wrapper, three of which have performed very well since May 2006:
1. 13.17%
2. 9.64%
3. 7.16%
Overall the portfolio has made 6.2% since May. Beginning to think I should strike while the iron is hot, sell the funds and stick proceeds in a new cash ISA come April 5th.
Alternatively could move into new funds but not sure if my luck might run out.
Basically don't want to leave the money in these funds, only to see them crash tot he floor!

I am in the same boat, sitting on a mixed bag of shares, thinking I should sell the lot, take my profits on the good ones and cut my losses on the others.
I have a batch of shares in Sheffield United, so if they stay up I will sell everything in May I think. Thing is , if they get relegated they could be worth next to nothing.
If you are likely to need the cash in the next year or so then sell them as you may be unlucky and the market drops just when you need to sell them.
Otherwise I always keep invested in shares/funds and review them now and again to ensure I am invested well.
No one ever got rich on the profits of a cash ISA.
