We regularly have to pay overseas suppliers (In Asia). Normally in US Dollars.

We bank with BOS. The system used by them is slow, inefficient and expensive.

Can anyone suggest a good online way of sending funds abroad? Thanks.

We have set up an account with Travelex, I can make overseas payments from my desk and the cost per transaction is only £5.00. The exchange rates are better too.

Another facility offered by Travelex is the ability to buy forward, I have bought £600,000 worth of dollars at $1.92 because my guess is that rates will drop this year. The purchase is only a commitment, I haven't paid them any money for the contract.
