Hi

E mail me and I can obtain a quote for you straight away which I can forward on to you. I would need to know how much you are paying for the property, its postcode, its age and whether it is leasehold or freehold. Hope this helps.

As Jules says, any quote will depend on price, area and whether it is leasehold or freehold (or, heaven forbid, commonhold). It also essential to know whether you are buying it just to live in or if you have plans for conversion or extension etc. If you could post up the information there are enough lawyers on the forum to get some figures for you

You will probably find a wide range of quotes but bear in mind you get what you pay for. Even being in the business is no guarantee of getting a decent job done for you. On a remortgage deal some years ago I was told I need planning permission for a change of use that happened about 30 years previously. I managed to persuade my conveyancer that she was wrong but someone with less knowledge might not have been able to do it

Post the details and I am sure several of us could give you a quote
