before the dotcom bubble burst i use to read the Motley Fool message boards, but have lost touch; the Fool seems to have chaged a lot
(though i've just joined the Fool Hidden Gems message board), but I'm interested in any other online investment forums, as, like this one, they are a wealth of good information, gossip and rumour.

Biggest in the UK is ADVFN. Loaded with muppets though.

Hemscott has a different formula and is worth looking at.

Probably the best is Trade2Win. In theory it is a little more highbrow, but tends to be very focussed on the muppetry, sorry, science of technical analysis.

Fool has become more of a place to discuss ISAs.

Moneybags.com is in the same format as this site and tends to be smart if a little dry.

Yahoo finance have added a few nice touches, also iii have some good discussion boards, although much like advfn, there are a few choice muppets posting regularly.

moneyam.com was set up as a drect competitor to advfn and many of the more knowledgeable people left advfn to go there, largely because of the muppetry referred to above.
