Currently I have my business line with BT and am paying a huge amount per quarter because 99% of the time it is diverted to a mobile phone (there are 5 possible mobiles it can be diverted to). Therefore I am paying the diverted call cost on every call my business receives.

Does anyone have any alternatives to BT?

Preferably with a capped charge each month or (highly unlikely) free transfer to a mobile number?

My BT bill comes in at around £450/500 a quarter, if that helps at all.

I thought about Talk Talk as my home phone and internet is with them, and to be honest, I've had no complaints so far. The only downside to this is you are locked in with them for 24 months.

Thanks all.

You could still take the incoming call from BT but switch it yourself and send the outbound portion over VOIP or another telephony provider using a PBX.

It would be more technically complicated than *21# but it is an alternative solution.
