A few friends of mine who use PC's at work are provided with a voucher for annual eye tests at Specsavers from their employer.
Taxable BiK?
Wondered how far this 'occupational health' ticket could be pushed? How about de-stressing from a stresful job; I visit one client whose staff who have had no time off that month get a morning head massage, aromathrapy sessions, spa sessions etc.
What about team building sessions (paintballing) conferences (boys days out) and sales prizes (trips overseas)? Are they a BiK?

I had thought that about the celebrity goodie bags from premiers and award shows, often worth tens of thousands of pounds and given personally.
I used to work with public sector staff who received expensicve personal gifts from middle eastern monarchs (can you guess where I am yet?) such as top end watches when they had finished jobs with their military who managed to keep them because of the risk of offending if they refused them or were seen later not to be wearing them or to have handed them in.

I believe they weren't given at this years Oscars as the revenue in the USA had decided they were a taxable perk.
I assume eye test vouchers wouldn't be, as I think it is a legal requirement for your employer to pay for the test when you use a VDU for a certain number of hours a day.
