Best Credit Check Service?
Discussion
Hi
I'm looking for an online service to provide business credit checking on an ad-hoc basis.
I know Experian are one of the major players, but I seem to recall there are at least three agencies which supply the information used for these reports, so maybe some of the downstream providers can provide information from all three so it's better to go to one of them? Or, do they all have much the same info anyway, or have I got it all totally wrong?!
Further info and any recommendations much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
roadie.

We have been using creditsafe for over a year and can't fault them.

We've also been using them for sometime and would highly recommend them.

I *think* creditsafe buy from Experian, so they're slightly behind (only a day or so) with their info.
Experian's gold reports certainly contain a lot of info, including outstanding mortgages / charges on property, how many "days beyond terms" the company is with it's suppliers (very useful to know in terms of if they're getting later...which is a sign of trouble) as well as giving an overall opinion / rating.
Some people like DnB, some don't - personally, I'm biased...but I try not to show it

If you have an Experian report and would like any bits of it explaining, feel free to give me a poke through the PH profile.
I might know a thing or two about how they're created.

Seen as u r in the know ... how do u go about getting things ammended on u r credit report ? per example , i had a trust deed in place which ended in Nov 2005 ... but looking at the file (credit expert) it looks like some of the accounts have not been settled ?
