Scenario in Question:
Say I setup new company, got it generating a conservative amount of revenue, then hire outside managing director to take over my role in order for business to flourish due to lack of expertise in area.
As someone is now essentially doing my job then I could take up role of Chairman or similar.. and most importantly choose to just come in for a few hours a day to oversee and check everything is correct.

So essentially I would get business off ground, pay someone else to to grow futher and perform my job, and then I just come in when I want stilly reaping benefits...

I know it makes my sound lazy, but hypotheticlly, Could I do this?
Does anyone do this themselves?

lol lolipop man!

well it seems like that yes
but I see it as stepping aside to allow someone with more knowlege and experience of the sector who might do a better job.

could it be done in theory then?
I know it would be different...

How come you have enough expertise to start it and make it profitable?

If your bought-in MD is any good, why would he want to work for YOU rather than himself?
