One for the PH Developers out there!

I now have 1476 spanish slates of size 400mm x 250mm, and 1110nr of the same size but with diamond bottoms. All pre drilled, and held in a yard in Essex.

What's the best way to shift them? Local reclaimed merchants only want the straight tiles for a low price. I was thinking about £700 for the lot - should be more than enough for a house, maybe 2 if the diamonds are used well.

Put some little plastic 'nipples' on the back, and take them to your local kitchen/cookware shop thumbup

So they have drain holes in them. Clever Idea!

Are they new or second hand? You might have a little trouble getting rid of the diamond shaped slates and you might have to settle for 30p each for the spanish ones.

If they're second hand, how do you know they are spanish? I'm not sure you can get 400 x 250mm spanish slates, unless it's a special order or they've been cut down. They're usually 500mm long.

Are you sure they're not welsh?

They're brand new, and I have been offered 20p so far for them - which isn't a lot. If I could get 30p then I would be happy, if not then I will make the supplier take them back as the over order was his fault.

They are Spanish, as I was told they would be - to match the existing, plus I thought Welsh were generally more expensive.

They were also special order.
