I trying to find a user friendly silicone cleaner for a previously powder coated surface, before I respray with a powder coat finish.
Anybody in the powder coat business that can advise?

Either a bead blast for a proper job or the standard degreaser that any decent powder line runs would allow new powder to stick. How long has the existing powder been on there?
Hello Mate How's it hanging!
These are pre powder coated profiles normally "Hipic" white, sometimes there is a need to repaint them to another colour. I was asking on behalf of our powder coaters who are having a little problem with Silicone rejection.
We have advised them to use white spirit and allow to air dry before re-spray.
They have tried acetone and cellulose thinners but it's a bit harsh on the original paint cover. Can't remove the old paint back to the sub-straight as the lengths of these profiles can be up to 6.5 metres long and the price would be prohibitive.
Regards
