Post script barcode font

Does anyone know about postscript barcode fonts? Can anyone recomend a particular one?

I need to get hold of one, but know nothing about them! - Free preferred, but if not then a reasonable cost.

What are you trying to acheive? I think I have a Code 39 font I can generate as a postscript font. Some barcodes need to have check digits generated so it isnt simply the case of having the font (code 39 dosent).

Had code 39 as a true type font, and trying was trying to get it working with a new digital printer and the engineer said we had to have a post script font. In the end, got it working with the TT code 39 font we already had, despite engineer saying it would not work.... Thanks for your reply though.

Was a very vague initial post after some frustration after lots of rubbish coming up after a google search! All sorted and working now.
