Who is in the car re-spraying industry?
Discussion
I hope the mods keep this here as I am looking for someone in the car respraying business in the hope that some of you could give me a few quotes.
Basically the car was struck by a flying object in the gale force winds this weekend and has scratched quite a few body panels. I am looking for a reasonably priced quote for a full body respray from somebody who knows what they are doing and take pride in their work.
Any help is much appreciated.

Unfortunately you've asked the proverbial "how long is a piece of string" question. No bodyshop is going to be able to give an accurate quotation without knowing:
- Make and model
- Number of affected panels and level of damage
- Type of original paint
- Colour (solid or metallic)
- Your geographical location.
- Insurance or Private claim
And a whole bunch of things that you would think have no effect on the price but do; like courtesy car required?, time scale etc, is the bodyshop going to offer a 3 year
warranty etc.
Equally something that you may consider a minor detail, may impact the quotation quite disproportionally. All in all we never quote on a vehicle we haven't actually seen and spoken to the customer about.
Not the most helpful reply, granted. But try Yellow Pages, visit a few likely candidates (with your car!) and have a chat

Dunno if its close enough to you Rob, but I always use MidCars in Bow Common Lane, Bow E3. He does all SAAB City's cars and formerly did work for Lancaster Porsche/Mercedes in Bow before they moved.
