I thought I'd share my good news (it's been a great day 
)
I have been working (with one of my other hats on) helping to build a prperty development company in the Med.
We have been very careful to create a brand and a product that is second to none (literally) in the Eastern Med.
We entered our projects in the International Proprty Awards, and have just found out that we won! The award ceremony is in Mayfair and Las Vegas this Autumn.

The project has not been marketed yet and we have already sold almost half to London based Millionaires in my social network. If any one is interested in one or more before we start to market them, please contact me via my profile.

Well done on the reward. Good to hear of business doing well and being recognised for its achievements.
A (hopefully constructive) comment on your web-site. It looks very slick but is actually very annoying to use - two things would improve that a good deal:
1) The menu delay - computers wait for me, I do not wait for computers
2) Default pages need to bring up information. Animated asterisks tell me nothing about the wonderful apartments and homes you are building. I was left wondering what to click on a number of times. Its 4:30am and I'm bored so I persevered. Prospective clients in a hurry may not.
The photography is great though - once you get to it!

Hi, it's hard to make UK developments profitable at the moment.
We have been asked to consider UK JV's to bring our branding and expertise to the table, but we are very selective on the location and target market. Basically we are in a niche market. Hope I made a bit of sense here?

Update: On the back of the award and a review of the concept, Ikon has been approached by the Royal Family of a Middle Eastern country to consider undertaking the development of an entire island into something similar to Dubai. I am still stunned by the approach!
Additionally, if there are any serious investors reading, Ikon is also considering JV's and brand licensing for developments on a split profit/commission basis for high profile international property projects. Please contact me through my profile if interested. Thanks
