Websites for part time/short contracts

[john_p]

I'm looking to do some extra coding/web dev work at evenings/weekends and just curious if there are any websites out there that specialise in this sort of stuff.. rather than jobserve/jobsite etc which seem more geared up towards "full time" contracts.

A few of the agencies do send me "one week" type contracts every now and then, but it would be good to have somewhere central I could register..

Any ideas?

Have you tried http://www.rentacoder.com/

You may have to bid on a few before you build up some good feedback, but there's all sorts on there.

That site looks great, thanks.

The only problem with that site is that you are bidding against students/ hobbyists and people in india/ china who will quote £50.00 for a job that will take a couple of days to do... I personally have tried using that site and never got anywhere with it.
