Getting Euros checked on a Sunday

I'm selling my Chimaera and I've got a guy coming from Germany tomorrow to have a look at it, and from what I understand he's planning on bringing cash with him, but probably in Euros. I'm slightly concerned that as it's a Sunday nowhere will be open to verify if the cash is genuine. Can anyone suggest a way I could confirm this before releasing the car?

An airports Bureau de Change will be open - you could try asking them if they can verify the cash?

But they might tell you to 'depart rapidly' of course.

Ask him to bring sterling , i had a buyer from Denmark and it wasnt a problem for him
